About Us
Founders’ Vision

Marian Foundation is a sui generis institution, founded in the year 2009. The foundation was conceptualized on the ideology of Rev. and Mrs. G. Chandra, Founders, and Trustees of the Marian Foundation with a longstanding legacy of 47 years in the field of quality education. Marian Foundation exists with the sole purpose of extending care, compassion, and resources in sectors of education, health, and environmental sustainability. Marian Foundation spearheads multiple events around arenas of health, education, and environmental sustainability to foster and bring about communal engagement, participation, and strong activation among societies

Health Awareness Programme

Cancer Research

To help cancer patients and their families, with special financial needs, the Marian Foundation partnered with Medanta, one of India’s largest multi-super specialty institutes. Under this, the Marian Foundation aimed to propel awareness of cancer, provide relief to the poor, establish and maintain old-age homes, and provide financial and other assistance to people in need of medical assistance.

Senior Health Care Awards’ 24

Marian Foundation is all set to organize the “Senior Health Care Awards’ 24” in the year 2024. A recognition and reward programme that aims to celebrate the efforts of individuals working devotedly in the healthcare sector to provide world-class service, quality treatment, and optimum care to their patients.

Sponsoring education in nursing

Marian Foundation is supporting education of girl child in the field of nursing. An investment of this kind, equips them with the right knowledge to serve society, broadening the horizons of health, and brings about valuable perspectives to the global healthcare community, fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

The Health Care initiative by the Marian foundation is a powerful setup for recognizing the devotion of the health fraternity to patient wellness, service, and care.

Marian Education

TAG 2022 & TAG 2023

An annual teacher recognition and reward programme, initiated in the year 2022 for teachers of the ICSE, ISC, and CBSE schools of the Gorakhpur region. TAG, exclusive property of Marian Foundation, owing to its massive success in recognizing teachers of Gorakhpur, has been organised for two consecutive years i.e., TAG 2022 & TAG 2023.

TAG Winners’ Talk-a-thon 2024

An initiative of Marian Foundation, organised under its flagship programme- Teachers Awards Gorakhpur. The education conclave was organised to initiate discussions on important subjects concerning education, to activate actions toward collective goals of achieving educational excellence, understand changes in the arena of education, by engaging in mutual discussions and interactive sessions.

Academic Sponsorships

Marian Foundation is sponsoring the education of three meritorious undergraduate children from Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. This initiative by the Marian Foundation empowers them with knowledge to make informed decisions about their lives, health, and future.

In the year 2023, Sarah Muskan Chandra came across two young girls, Kajal and Saira, and brought them under the wide umbrella of Marian Foundation’s sponsorship initiatives. Marian Foundation patronized the education of the young girls, for three years by consigning ₹1,80,000 to Bethel Trust in favour of their education fees. Such an initiative not only helps in community development but also creates an inter-generational impact by ensuring a secure future for the two girls, their families, and their upcoming generations.
